Entering Ihram and Making the IntentionBefore reaching the Miqat, pilgrims prepare themselves for Ihram. Men wear two pieces of white, unstitched clothing, while women wear modest and appropriate clothing.After making the intention (Niyyah) for Umrah, pilgrims recite the Talbiyah:“Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayka La Shareeka Laka Labbayk.”Pilgrims must observe all the rules and restrictions of Ihram until the Umrah is completed.2.
